√ |
The main
rosette gets 18" tall and wide. It quickly forms a colony of
offsets. The leaves can be nipped when
temperatures drop below 32 degrees but they recover quickly. Adapts to a variety of soils but requires
good drainage. Plants grown in partial
shade usually look greener than plants grown in full sun. During the growing season water only after
plant has completely dried out. During
the winter months, keep cool to initiate flower development and water only
enough to keep foliage from shriveling. This aloe's sap is an irritant to
skin. |
If desired remove old flower stalks
